Easy toll payment in AUSTRIA with TollPass EUROBOX

In Austria, a toll is due for road vehicles with a total weight of more than 3.5 tonnes (all trucks, buses and heavy goods vehicles) and is collected through a DSRC-based toll system on motorways and speed roads.

Variable vehicle parameters to be declared by the on-board unit:

• The current number of axles of an attached trailer

The current tariff can be found here: https://www.asfinag.at/toll/go-box-for-hgv-and-bus/. For Austrian toll VAT is applicable and it is 20%.

It is forbidden to drive a vehicle that is subject to toll payment without paying it. The driver must carry a "Vehicle Declaration" document on board of the truck during the journey and present it for inspection upon request from the authorities.
