Camper vehicles with weight more than 3.5 tons will pay a vignette

With a change in the Road act from 13.02.2024, all camping vehicles (campers) of category M1 and regardless of their total technically permissible maximum mass will pay an electronic vignette.

Until now, M1 category campers with a gross weight over 3.5 tons paid a toll, and those under 3.5 tons an electronic vignette.

Customers whose campers are equipped with TollPass on-board devices for automatic toll charging in Bulgaria must request the return of the devices to support@tollpass.bg

When traveling in Bulgaria after 13.02.2024, vehicles of this type must have an active electronic vignette.

TollPass reminds that when attaching a trailer, if the total technically permissible maximum mass of the composition exceeds 3.5 tons, an electronic vignette must also be purchased for the trailer, which can be different type - for example, if the camper has an annual vignette, for the trailer it can be purchased weekly.

Tollpass.bg and Vinetki.bg customers can monitor the validity of their vignettes in the online platforms, and also receive notifications when an annual, quarterly, monthly or weekly vignette expires.
