State Aid for Road Freight Transport

Dear Customers,

We inform you that the campaign for applying for minimum aid in support of the competitiveness of road freight transport in Bulgaria has started. The application period is from September 2 to September 17, 2026. The total amount of compensation funds is up to EUR 55 million, and the administrator is the Road Infrastructure Agency through the National Toll Administration (BG Toll).

Who can apply:

• A legal entity registered in Bulgaria, holding a valid license for the carriage of goods;
• Main activity "Road freight transport" (code H.49.41 according to NSI);
• Paid toll fees for Bulgaria during 2025;
• No obligations to the state/municipalities and no insolvency or liquidation proceedings.
• The amount of aid is determined in proportion to the toll fees you paid during 2025.

The procedure is made as easy as possible:

• Applications are entirely online;
• Data on your paid toll fees is automatically retrieved from the National Toll Administration (BG Toll) system. You do not need to submit toll fee statements.
