When purchasing a route pass, make sure that you have selected the correct detours 

The Road Infrastructure Agency announced that from June 24 (Monday) the repair work on the I-1 road between Mezdra - Lutidol - "Novacene" road junction started and traffic will be restricted in both directions. 

The complete closure of the section and the temporary organization of traffic, planned for about 6 months, is due to the works on the completion of the road junctions "Mezdra", "Darmantsi" and "Rebarkovo" and the modernization of the road Mezdra - Botevgrad in the section from 161st to 194th km. 

Passenger cars up to 3.5 t 

Light vehicles up to 3.5 t will pass along road III-1004 (Pavolche - Chelopek) - road III-1602 (Chelopek - Lyutibrod) - road II-16 (Lyutibrod - Eliseyna - Svoge) - Sofia ring road and back. 

Vehicles over 3.5 t 

Detour routes are provided for vehicles over 3.5 t. Be careful when purchasing route pass if you plan to cross the route under repair and make sure you plan the detours correctly using the four intermediate point or purchase separate route pass for each part of the route. 

Possible bypass routes for vehicles over 3.5 tons 

• road II-13 (Krapchene - Krivodol - Borovan - Byala Slatina - Knezha - Dolni Dabnik) - road I-3 (Dolni Dabnik - Cherven bryag - Lukovit - Zlatna Panega) - AM "Hemus" and back;
• road II-15 (Vratsa - Borovan) - road II-13 (Borovan - Byala Slatina - Knezha - Dolni Dabnik) - road I-3 (Dolni Dabnik - Cherven bryag - Lukovit - Zlatna Panega) - AM "Hemus" and back .

or 

• one-way only in the direction to Sofia: through the "Petrohan" pass - until the introduction of winter maintenance of the road;
• from 00:00 to 06:00 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 
• from 09:00 to 16:00 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 
• from 19:00 to 24:00 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 
• one-way only in the direction to Montana: along the "Hemus" highway - road I-3 (Yablanitsa - Zlatna Panega) - road III-3082 (Zlatna Panega - Roman) - road III-103 (Roman - Mezdra - village "Moravitsa ") - road I-1 (Moravitsa village - Vratsa - Montana).
