Date: 10/08/2025, Author: TollPass

From February 3, 2026 – a vignette with a validity of 24 hours for the paid road network in Bulgaria

From February 3, 2026, a new option for paying road fees will be introduced in the country – a one-day electronic vignette for passenger cars. The decision is part of the European harmonization of road tolls and is enshrined in EU Directive 2022/362.
The change was approved by Decree No. 191 of the Council of Ministers of September 23, 2025 and is aimed at facilitating drivers on short or one-time trips in Bulgaria.

The new product will allow the use of the republican road network for only 24 hours for a fixed price of 4.09 euros, equal to 8 leva at the moment.
Months before the planned launch, the TollPass team, which offered Bulgarian drivers electronic vignettes in 2019, is now ready with the development, testing and integration of the new product, which will be available for purchase from February 3, 2026.

Where can it be purchased?

From February 3, 2026, the platforms TollPass.bg and Vinetki.bg will offer one-day vignettes at the value set by the state, without additional fees charged by unlicensed sites.

Validity

When purchasing, the vignette can be activated upon purchase or at a specific starting time from which its validity will begin - according to the same model applicable to other electronic vignettes and will be active for travel on the toll road network in Bulgaria for a period of 24 hours.

Easy online payment

Purchasing through TollPass.bg and Vinetki.bg is fast and secure, with various payment methods supported - bank cards and digital wallets such as Google Pay and Apple Pay.
